NMTE member R.D. Rhobajt brings a new musical, Socks & Shoes & Coats, to the 2026 Minnesota Fringe Festival this August at the Barbara Barker Center for Dance.

The show follows new parents navigating “pregnancy & pediatricians & preschool & poop” — somewhere in the realm of classic two-handers like The Fantasticks or I Do! I Do! It features 8 new songs and, in a signature Rhobajt touch, captioned violin baby-talk. Written and produced by Rick and directed by John Widen, it’s a comedy with music suitable for audiences roughly ages 7 and up.
